Man of the Match: Jamie Crewe (Lancaster Bombers)
The Bombers started brightly and quickly took control of the game through the clinical finishing of Jamie Crewe, who completed a first-half hat-trick to put his side firmly in command. Jamie opened the scoring before adding two further goals to make it 3–0. Vintage Clarets showed great spirit and pulled one back through Josh W, but Konrad restored the three-goal cushion before the interval, sending Lancaster into the break with a commanding 4–1 lead.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Lancaster’s movement and attacking quality proving difficult to contain. Jamie grabbed his fourth goal of the match shortly after the restart to make it 5–1, before Kwok extended the lead further. An unfortunate own goal increased the margin to 7–1 as the Bombers continued to press forward.
Jason then added Lancaster’s eighth goal of the afternoon, capping off an impressive team performance. Luke managed to score a late consolation for Vintage Clarets, ensuring the match finished 8–2.
Despite the scoreline, James’ Vintage Clarets deserve credit for their determined and resilient defending throughout. They battled hard against a well-organised Lancaster side, but the Bombers’ superior movement and quality in the final third ultimately proved decisive.
A standout performance from Jamie Crewe earned him a deserved Man of the Match award after scoring four goals and leading Lancaster Bombers to a convincing victory.
