Welcome to Football For Life (“FFL”), a community-based football club dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing, physical health, and social inclusion through the power of football. By joining FFL or using this website, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1. Membership Eligibility
Football For Life is currently open to men aged 18+.
We offer two membership types: Lite and Full. Each includes different levels of access, training, and team assignment.
Members must complete a registration form, agree to our waiver and health declaration, and set up a direct debit via GoCardless.
All applications are subject to admin approval and space availability.
2. Code of Conduct
All members agree to:
Treat teammates, opposition, referees, volunteers, and staff with respect and fairness.
Refrain from any form of abuse, bullying, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour.
Uphold the core values of FFL: health, inclusivity, community, and personal growth.
FFL reserves the right to suspend or remove any member who violates this code.
3. Health and Safety
Members participate at their own risk. FFL encourages all players to consult a medical professional before taking part in physical activity.
Any health conditions or injuries must be disclosed during registration and updated as necessary.
Emergency contact (“In Case of Emergency” or ICE) details must be provided.
4. Payment and Refunds
Payments are collected via GoCardless and include a pro-rata first month, followed by monthly fees.
Fees contribute to pitch hire, equipment, insurance, and administration.
Membership fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances, subject to committee discretion.
5. Teams and Fixtures
Full members will be assigned to a colour team for weekly 5-a-side matches and may be invited to participate in XIs and cup games.
Team assignments are managed by the admin team and may be adjusted to maintain balance and inclusion.
6. Communications and WhatsApp Groups
Members will receive key updates via email and may be invited to join official WhatsApp groups:

XIs Group (Full Members only)
Members must follow group rules and remain respectful in all communications.
7. Media and Data Use
FFL may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not consent, please inform us via email.
Member data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is only used for club operations.
8. Waiver and Liability
By participating in Football For Life, members:
Acknowledge that football carries a risk of injury and voluntarily assume this risk.
Agree that Football For Life, its organisers, volunteers, and coaches are not liable for any injuries, loss, or damage sustained during activities.
9. Termination of Membership
Members may cancel their membership at any time with written notice via email.
FFL reserves the right to revoke membership for breach of these terms, late/non-payment, or conduct issues.
