A standout performer on the pitch, Liam White has taken his success to a whole new level off it. Fresh from a prolific 5-a-side season where he fired in an impressive 40 goals, Liam is now celebrating an even bigger personal achievement, shedding an incredible 17kg in body weight through Football For Life’s revamped £ for LB physical wellbeing programme.
The initiative, designed to promote sustainable fat loss and healthier lifestyles among members, is quickly gaining traction within the Football For Life community. Liam’s transformation is already being highlighted as a powerful example of what can be achieved with the right structure, support, and accountability.
At the heart of the programme is Football For Life’s newly appointed body coach, Josh, founder of JRfitness4life. Bringing a fresh, simplified approach to fat loss, Josh has helped reshape £ for LB into a results-driven system focused on consistency rather than complexity.
Speaking about the revamped programme, Josh explained:
“The £ for LB project has been redesigned to hold participants accountable to their fat loss goals by helping them understand the basics of how weight loss actually works. It’s about making small, manageable changes to everyday life so that fat loss becomes not just sustainable, but enjoyable.
Sustainable fat loss comes from understanding your intake and output. With my specially designed tracking sheet, we’ve removed all the technical complexity. Participants simply need to focus on three key habits: tracking their weight daily, accurately logging calories, and monitoring their steps.”
Liam himself credits the simplicity of the programme and the support behind it as key drivers of his success. Reflecting on his journey so far, he said:
“In the last 12 weeks of taking part of this programme I've lost 17kg by just tweaking my lifestyle choices and watching my calorie intake a lot more than previously.
I still eat out or have a takeaway at least once a week with not too many changes to my everyday life. This will continue until I hit my goal weight, and further to maintain that weight.
Since becoming a Dad I needed to make changes to live a healthier lifestyle and I feel like a new person. Full of energy and can now do a lot more things, a lot easier.
It is so easy to maintain if you put your mind to it, especially with the help of Josh, who I'm really thankful for. Long may it continue.”
This straightforward approach is already proving effective, with participants like Liam demonstrating just how impactful consistency can be. The programme removes the overwhelm often associated with fitness plans, instead giving members a clear and achievable framework to follow.
The next 12-week programme kicks off on Monday 13th April, offering members the opportunity to take control of their health and fitness in a supportive, community-driven environment. This programme is completely free for Football For Life members (normally £99 per month).
